This model was produced in the 1980s in very limited numbers (generally believed to be due ot the high cost of production). It was at the time the widest field of view on a (quality) 12x binocular at 96m/1000m and possibly still is. Despite that, it delivers an exceptionally sharp image, softening only towards the very edge of the field. Oviously well used with lots fo cosmetic wear, but optically and mechanically excellent.
Apart from a light scratch on one eye lens, which is out of the light path, the opitcs are perfect, internally crystal clear and perfectly collimated. Mechanically faultless and if you like a fast-focus binocular, this goes from infinity to close-up in half a revolution fo the focus wheel, which is quite amazing. Original case, but note the partial tear to the rear hinge loop.
